Creating an article
When you have created the first category, now you can start to create an article for your Knowledge Base. The article is a document that can be described with titles, paragraphs, lists, images, tables, code blocks, and blockquotes.
Just hover the category and press the "Add article" button.
And you will get the "lorem ipsum" article is created with a "Draft" status. Here you can find the generated title and slug (slug is a part of the URL that identifies your unique article).
The article can have a few statuses
- "Draft" β only you will see it (better to use when you just start to create your KB).
- "Hidden" β an article will be hidden from a KB menu, but it will work as "Published". You can access it by direct link, itβs useful to send private links for review or something else.
- "Published" β an article will be available for all Knowledge Base visitors.
The next steps to publish your first article are
- Choose the icon (if you like).
- Specify the "Title".
- Specify the "Slug" (it will be a part of the category URL).
- Add text, images, and any other blocks by pressing the plus icon on the left side of the article's body.
- Choose "Published" status.
- Press the "Save changes" button.
